The Wine Barrel Guy is Joe Barrett, a Journeyman Carpenter with a long history of making beautiful home products, who started working with wine barrels in 2010.
This is a "green" business that uses actual wine barrels that have been decommissioned by vineyards, re-purposing them into lazy susans, trays, candle holders, bowls, and towel & coat bars. His wine barrel gal, wife Joy Barrett, has been instrumental in his steady drive to perfection, insisting that every edge, every seam be perfectly smooth to the touch, holding him to the highest of standards. Together, Joe & Joy offer their Wine Barrel products at Upscale Flea Markets and Art & Wine Festivals in the northern California area surrounding San Francisco/Monterey.
